CDA Board comprises of the Chairman, 7 executive members and 4 non-executive members. Similarly, Chief Commissioner Islamabad (ICT) and Commissioner Rawalpindi are also the ex-officio members of the CDA Board. Each Executive Member is in charge of various wings. These directorates include:
Administration Wing
Responsible for the overall administration and management of the CDA, including human resources, procurement, and general administration.
Engineering Wing
Handles all engineering-related projects and processes of the CDA, including infrastructure development, construction, and maintenance.
Estate Management Wing
Deals with the management, maintenance, and development of CDA's property and assets, including commercial and residential properties.
Planning & Design Wing
Responsible for urban planning, land use development, and design of infrastructure projects, ensuring sustainable and efficient development.
Environment Wing
Focuses on environmental conservation, management, and ensuring sustainable development practices within the capital territory.
Technology & Digitalization Wing
Deals with the effective use of technology and digitalization for improving administrative processes and service delivery. Each executive member supervises and guides their respective directorate in accordance with the policies and objectives set by the CDA Board. The board, in turn, oversees the overall functioning of the CDA and makes key decisions regarding major projects, policies, and initiatives for the development and management of Islamabad.
